The icon at the bottom is not visible. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is someone else seeing my PM's !

Seeing your PM's! I rather wish I hadn't, given your lewd suggestions to Her Grace. I'm sure the lady has never entertained the thought of what you suggested, and has probably never even heard of an Ann Summers party.

Jim-S, found the same problem myself but figured it out. Now Dave's made the screen wider with all those extra flags, there are a few base-line icons that have fallen off the edge, so to speak.
If, BEFORE you log in, you go to the "spread bar" (or whatever it's called, right at the bottom of the guyslink screen, and move the whole screen far left, then you'll see all the missing icons and they'll stay there. AFTER you've logged in, the spread bar sadly disappears, so you need to do this move before you log in.

I mean, you move the bar far right, then the screen goes the other direction. D'oh!

Jim: By "icon at the bottom", do you mean the green envelope that changes to flashing yellow when you have an unread mailbox message? If so, this can sometimes disappear for about 10 mins if our server software reloads itself (e.g. after a fault). If it remains absent for over 10 mins, it may be because the status bar at the bottom of the screen is failing to refresh itself - and a "right click" (over the status bar) and "refresh" (from the dropdown menu) will usually resolve that.
Tony: In the BR, at the bottom right of the screen, you should be seeing the same number of flags that were always there - i.e. 5 of them - Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the US and the World. I only changed the flags on the contact boards - and the login screen, so I guess that you and Frank must be referring to the login screen? I will take a look at that and see if I can improve things a little.

Thanks Frank. I quite like the map idea, but there are a couple of problems. Firstly there's an issue with precision - as we cover all countries of the world, the smaller ones would be difficult to select accurately. Someone might, for example, try to click on Gibraltar and inadvertantly find themselves in Spain. Secondly, a National Geographic survey last year indicated that a significant percentage of people have no clue about where their country is, on a world map. I'm sure the same people don't know what their flag looks like either - but with the flags I think they're more likely to admit defeat and resort to using the dropdown box of countries, rather than just clicking in the wrong place.
Anyway, I'll give some more thought to this issue. In the meantime, I've now updated the screen so that the flags go over multiple lines - which should resolve the original problem.

Looks much better now Dave instead of flags you could have text like,
albania
canada
bahamas
butchland
bavaria
etc
it would take up too much space so the java
drop down box is your answer.

Hi Dave
It was indeed the green envelope that I was referring to and the other icons along with it. I ended up with only 3 icons as opposed to the usual 6. However, it did come back so alls well that ends well.
