I've just finished an 81 hour stretch at work. I am absolutley exhausted.
Nevermind.
We are going to see Cabaret, the film, at the cinema later. It is one of my favorite films, and it should be wonderful to see it on a new print at the cinema.
tomorrow, I am doing nothing all day. Totally nothing. I'll probably spend the morning in bed drinking hot chocolate and reading.
In the evening we are going out for a few drinks and a dance at either Essential or Legends.
Sunday is another day for rest before the slog of next week, 50 hours up to now.

You deserve a well earned rest.
Did you you manage to scale that mountain in the Lake/Peak district? I presume your other half's heart is still ticking.
[ Sorry if I've mixed you up with someone else. I'm a bit dim; I thought River Thames was 70, but he's only turned 40(according to his calculations).]

Novice, I talked Roger out of walking to the to the top of Helvellyn. We did a smaller circular walk instead.
He had his ECG and everything appears fine. He has to go back in a couple of months though.
Loved Cabaret last night. It was wonderful to see Liza Minnelli up on the screen like that, and a dazzling print too. Plus some of my favorite songs.
I've been listening to Ute Lemper singing German cabaret songs this morning - 'Life's A swindle', 'The Smart Set', 'I Am A Vamp'..... all great songs.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Shame about the weather though

How I wished I had your energy Dylan, I know you are tired, is it any wonder working such long hours, but I do envy your energy.

I don't really have that much energy Wilf. I am on autopilot a lot of the time, except in cases where I can't be such as care reviews and emergencies. I get through a lot of coffee too.
Mind you, I feel full of energy now, after a couple of vodkas.
