I feel really wiped out tonight, so I'm going to bed.

I have to work 16 hours tomorrow, and then walk the 4 miles home, so I won't be doing much celebrating.

We're going to friends on Boxing Day, so we will have our meal etc then. I still have to work in the morning though up to 4pm.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and I'll try and pop in here Thursday.

“walk over 4 miles”....on Christmas Day? You should be entitled to a taxi. Or do you do the old trick of claiming for one, but walking anyway?

No, they're far too mean fisted to pay the £20.00 for a taxi. We don't even get double pay or anything.

I presume you work at a 'private' home then, because I'm that if it were a Council 'facility' [horrible word] then you would, or should, be entitled.
