I wonder what he's dreaming about. On reflection perhaps it's best not to enquire. It might be some
horrific conoction of PQ in black with vodka and cranberry in hand, about to offer LI a job working
on 'The Eye' but only on condition that he wears jockey shorts so as not to cause some old Dowager
to have a fit of the vapors over the Thames.

Well, I'm back from a hard day of grocery shopping. Really, I'm on my own for the holidays and I've
literally spend six hours shopping for food! It's obscene. I'll have to spend all of January and
February on the bloody stairmaster.

Oh gawd, I also had to run my mother to the airport. Canadians are in two places right now: the mall
and the airport! The lines rivalled anything at Disney. It was taking up to 90 minutes just to
reach a ticket agent. Happily, we were able to use the express ticket feature so buzzed through in
five minutes.

I love the madness of the holidays. When everything goes well it seems so anti-climactic.

Actually, I'm rather looking forward to being on my own. I did it a few years ago and it was okay. I
could sleep in, I rented a pile of videos, played in the kitchen and napped. And then the day was
over.

I do have a friend who's lunching at his mother's about a block away, so he may seek refuge here
from his relatives. If not I have piles of magazines and books to read.

true but I wanted them to look nice and some of the gifts were breakable and im extreemly clumbsy
once I was in boots the chemist shop tripped up and smashed an entier shelf of babie food another
time i smashed a friends mirrior all I was doing was holding it and it broke in my hands
