 | Time for a diet ¿ Cam (in the United Kingdom) 28 Dec 2001 at 20:58 GMT |
|
|
Well folks it's that time of year again. About 8 months ago I weighed 12st 8lbs, and I look at the
scales tonight and I'm 16st. O my fucking god. Why? Why me? Why do I insist on eating everything in
sight?
I'm going for a run tomorrow.

Chicken Jalfrezi
Pilau Rice
Sheek Kebab x2
Keema Naan Bread x2
I feel ill.

Andrew, I expect you carry it better than I do!
It's not so much my weight that bothers me as the rapidity with which I gain it.

Eek! I've just eaten two slices of pizza and I wish I hadn't. I was going to eat my Ginsters
pasty but I bit it and it tasted weird, so I ate some pizza and now I feel like puking.
I fancy a curry now though.... I gain weight extremely quickly (even though I eat shite all!)
because the swelling in my brain apparently affects my endocrine system badly. Still, it's a good
excuse! (if a little painful )

I am going on a high protein diet in the New Year - I intend to take this gym thing seriously. I
don't want to lose weight, but redistribute some of it!

Swimming is supposed to be the best form of excercise. Unfortunately I discovered last year that I
have forgotten how it is done.
I used to run every day almost, usually 3-5 miles, and I really enjoyed it. It is all about mind
over matter really.

Heheh, Suiii or Lynz will do fine, hopefully I can get back to using 'Suiii' soon anyway, it's too
confusing!
Damn, I have that song from Miss Congeniality stuck in my head and it won't go away! And
Neoplanet is really hacking me off, I never thought I'd miss IE5.

8stone, and trying to find clothes is an absolute nightmare!
My waist size is 28" and would love to be a size 30" as then i could buy trousers from any blooming
shop anywhere!

L.I. I would suggest plenty of white meat (eg Chicken breast etc.), plenty of nuts, cheese, and
carbohydrates, balanced with lots of fresh fruit..
You are definitely well underweight, for your height, mate..

so this would be a bad time to tell you about the tubs of ice cream i have in the freezer!
Actually, you could jog to Bristol, eat some ice cream, and then jog back. Thus fulfilling the need
for ice cream, and getting fit at the same time!

How embarassing. I managed barely 10 minutes of very mild jogging before collapsing in an asthmatic
heap.

Well, you'll have to work up to it gradually... do an extra 5 minutes each day, or split it into
smaller sessions.

I'll try again tomorrow.
As far as the body goes, running's more a question of pushing yourself, mind over matter. The cold
air got to my poor fat lungs though.

fella of yours can't leave you alone!
