Yes, I know it's a bit early, but I'm off to New York a la matin, and I just wanted to wish
everybody a very happy new year!
See you next year!

Have a great time Sat, watch out for those east side bath houses, you may see my initials scratched
somewhere...

"watch out for those east side bath houses, you may see my initials scratched somewhere..."
Presumbably those scratches are in the walls and not the men.

Well Val did say bath houses adl, not bath house clientele.

Ta Andrew, Joker and Val ... I'm all excited now ... lol ... even though it's my umpteeth time to NY
I've not been for new year before. I can't believe it is a THREE HOUR check-in now; and seeing as I
like to get a seat with a bit of leg room, it means an hour before that!
I hope there is plenty of alcohol at Heathrow!
I would have a look for you Val, hun, but I'm far too shy to do any of that
nude-in-front-of-other-people sort of stuff!

LOL @ The Audience. Yes, actually, you're right, I'm not too shy for it, but have more compassion
for the other poor buggers that would have to endure it!
That's cool Paul, please make sure you do. I'm back in the UK on Thursday 3rd, anytime after that
would be great.

Sat - they're telling you three hours because of the longer line-ups to get tickets and then to go
through security. BTW, got any fake body parts? My mother's artifical hip set off the security
alarms at Halifax International on Saturday.
As for getting a seat assignment, call the airline ahead of time. Most people book this with the
ticket. Even if you booked on-line, you can call the airline to get a seat assignment. I know
someone who did it while in the line-up at the airport! The bulk heads and by emergency exits give
you the most leg room.
