Seasons Greetings !
May I wish all members of the Blue Room the compliments of the season. Thank you to all who have so
generously sent cards and presents - the case of Pol Roger from my Unauthorized Biographer was most
welcome, as was the large box of Violet Creams from an anonymous benefactor.
Particular thanks to 'Young Dave - such a nice young man ! - for providing even spetic old Dowager
Duchess' with a refuge and for all his sterling work on our behalf.
And finally may I wish everyone a wonderful and prosperous New Year.
Mildew, Dowager Duchess of Mayfair

Cello is an abbreviation for violoncello (not violincello). Some basses have a fifth string tuned to
the B or C below the bottom E.

Y.G.- may I offer Season's Greetings on behalf of your Plenipotentiary to The Court Of Siam, who,
neglectful of Your Grace's desires as ever, is currently hurtling for the border and a picnic lunch
in the Killing Fields, wherein he hopes to secure a re-entry visa to the Kingdom. Said greetings
also from myself and Sak (of whom you have yet to see a Face-link, I fear!). Enjoy meandering your
way through the case of Pol Roger - I shall be "slumming" it on a very welcome gift of Laurent
Perrier, which I actually prefer to Pol. Chaqu'un, and all that. XXXX

O Gloriosa (as opposed to Gloriana of blessed memory),
May your Christmas stocking be stuffed to the limit, may you find what you desire under the tree,
and may your new year begin with a nice case of Grange Hermitage,
From the Colonial Doctor,
G&T.

And seasons greetings to you too, my dear Doctor, not to mention Her Grace, who will no doubt spend
the festive period relaxing, with her servents at her constant, beckoned call. Bet they don't get
time off for Chrimbo.

Bet they don't get the minimum wage either Simon!

What need have servants with £3.70 per week ! They would only squander such generous terms on wine,
women or, worse, gambling ! And no they don't have time off over Christmas. What of my comfort ?!
