just done it .... vote is now 70.30 in favour of not allowing anal sex at 16 (is that all they think
we get up to????) (see Sexual Positions thread *hehehe* that would really get Baroness Y shook up)

My own personal view is that the age of consent for both hetrosexual and homosexual sexual
relationships should be 18.
I think that the people who are in power should concentrate less on the anal sex aspect of any
homosexual relationship and a little more on the gymslip mothers who are living off others taxes.
I appreciate that even with the age of consent for all being at 18 we will still have under age
pregnancy and also underage buggery, but I still think it may reduce them. (ready to be shot down
in flames)

I think there shouldn't be any age of consent... just more education.

the age of consent is like speeding .... probably the most ignored law in the land. Equalising the
age of conest has bugger all *scuse me* to do with sex ... 16 (and even 15) yr olds were messing
round (and girls were getting pregnant) before the law changed and they would have kept on doing it
without a change in the law. I broke the law the first time I had sex (SO CUM AND GET ME MR
POLICEMAN). the point is atmosphere (for want of a better word). It makes it harder to pick out
gays for being different, it gives us greater legal recognition, if it makes one single gay
teenager miserably heading to school feel one iota more comfortable with himself then it was worth
the palaver
so lets start a new campaign : PRIVATISE BARONESS YOUNG, she's already off the rails anyway

Also a bit unfair for you boys that us lezzahs have no legal age imposed upon us, and all because
Queen Victoria disn't believe that such frightful practices existed! I wonder how it would work in
law though, I mean does that mean the police couldn't prosecute me if I went out with one of the
young ladies from Home and Away for instance??

Gmboy-Strangely enough one of my freinds argues your point (education). When section 28 hit the
headlines in a big way he said that they needed to get hetrosexual education correct in schools
before starting on homosexual education, he had a point. I remember watching films (not video,s) of
locusts mating when I was at school !!

I remember that our hetsex education was basically a video of people talking about how they felt at
puberty, and then they did a 2 hour lecture on STDs but didn't actually inform us of the mechanics
of how you catch them! Heheh, and this wasn't until we were 15, and had all long gone through
puberty, and several of our number were onto their second child! In fact, a girl in my brothers
form had 2 sets of twins before she was 14, so it was waaaaaay too late for her!

I did actually go out with a 16 year old when I was 22 (last year) and she'd moved to The States, so
I'd probably have been given the death penalty!

Mating behaviour is different from sexual education! :-) I don't know about england but in Italy we
don't have anything that could be described as sexual education in families and in schools. TV
teaches you all really! I don't see the difference between a straight and a gay sexual education...
after all we do the same things (just different holes). Education should just aim at making people
more responsible of their actions I suppose... I don't know... it's far too complicated for my
fragile little brain! ;-)

I vaguely remember getting sex education at primary school, but it never interested me (now there's
an early omen), so I never paid attention. Got all my info from the playground and from other
people... (joining the LGB last year was a fucking eye opener... : )

I don't really have strong views one way or the other. What I really object to is that the
Government used the 1911 Parliament Act to force it to Royal Assent before Parliament was
prorogued. The Commons had no chance to consider the Lords amendment which is hardly a shining
example of democracy in action. This was arrogant and simply because the last administration used
the Parliament Act to force through the War Crimes Bill is no excuse. Indeed that is a good example
of very bad law.

but very good politics ... just bloody slow!!!! and the lords amendment was only a spoling tactic
.... I mean please, you can do anything ekse but you cant bugger each other til you're 18 ... sure
the police woud have fun enforcing that one - " but officer he was only giving me a blow job and
rimming me before we did our homework!!" ... and including girls in it as well to make it sound
like they're not really homophobc ... how many times has this been debated in the comons .... the
matter is SORTED!!!!!

These loonies in the Lords have got sodomy, buggery, and anal intercourse on the brain. It just
shows how warped they are that they can't think of anything to do with love or pleasure or sexual
need. Hateful people.

Sort of going of the subject of the thread a bit, I am amazed at the number of people who think that
all gay men have anal sex

Lie! Find the website of a UK company which includes a postal address and use that postcode.
Note that they ask for sexual orientation (maybe they will ignore all the gay voters) so get your
str8 friends to vote too (or lie again).
I didn't suggest these ideas.....
Paul.

It would be quite interesting to see what the straight voters thought of it though... maybe they
could give us a breakdown of the results from straights.

Or just lie, they dont stop you voting if you use only a town's postcode, so make it up. They can't
check really, although I've heard concerns that Baroness Young might be making a list of all the
gay people who vote, and where they live...

hardly likely to be a conspiracy, adl, the tories couldn't organise mass at the Vatican, but it
might worry some gay people enough to prevent them voting.

I don't see why it should. It is the middle of Saturday afternoon and I have just checked, we are
back down to 68%, and this is AFTER they have culled 7000 'rogue entries' - isn't that what the Old
Bag gets so upset about?
Go Get'em Girls, get the Digit dialling.

no, I reckon be honest, so when she tries to strip the gay votes out of the final results she can
be accused of 1/ fiddling the vote, 2/ wanting to disenfrachise gays

Apparently we are now down to just 62%. Lets screw-up the noble [?] Baroness' New Year by having a
late burst back up to 70%.
