 | Lad's Christmas Card.. ® Lad (in the United Kingdom) 23 Dec 2004 at 18:04 GMT |

Tomorrow, I am off to Mum and Dad's, and like a few others, I shall not have internet access during the four or five days I am away.
It would have been amazing to have been with Matt for Christmas, but we have both promised our families that we would be with them, so we are standing by that, and meeting again on 5th January.
2004 has been a funny sort of year. It has had its 'ups and downs' - probably more of the latter. As many will remember, it kicked off for me on 1st January with having my wallet and mobile phone stolen in Manchester. Since then, my personal life has been its usual turbulent self.. Until Matt... You all know the details, from the 'Morning Of My Life' thread...
On Christmas Day, we have been together for ten weeks. There is never a day goes by when we do not chat on the phone. We have massive plans for 2005, and we will carry them through. Life is too damned short to waste any more time. I have been a 'dark horse' re: my musical side, but all will be revealed very soon.. Watch this space!
Anyway, to the main point.... I want to wish everyone in here a fantastic Christmas and a wonderful New Year..
I first discovered this board, back in around October 2001, and liked the look of it.. It has gone through a few changes since then (human nature being what it is) and is still a great place to be..
Have an amazing time, everyone, and just do what makes you happy....
Cheers,
Tony and Matt xx

Frank - I prefer a decent Stilton with my Port...
adl - I write my own music.. Just getting back into it.. Don't need karaoke (empty orchestra)... I am grateful for that.. Have a great holiday yourself!

Naaaaah, Lad is Santa in disguise (dyed hair and beard). He is taking off with four reindeer and a sleigh. He has already hinted at his musicality, so we will be treated to delightful renderings of "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer until Monday am...
