Indeed not - This guy is seriously obsessive. I've seen his stuff on the other forums. Looks like he's killed the NZ forum.

I think its reveiw about describes the movie and Mr. Lloyd Duff
It's Got: Some interesting European locations.
It Needs: To be overlooked in favour of 'The Transporter'.
Summary: A confused actioner where even the fight sequences don't always make sense - it has little to recommend it. 3/10

Oh good, then it's not just me. If this man is Polish, why did the poster say he was a German who was shot? And why tell us, unless he was shot because he's gay. Or his (real life) lover?

Come on, give the guy a break. It’s a fantasy he enjoys, involving flatcaps, suits and a scene in a film. Basically harmless stuff as long as he doesn’t let it disrupt reality for himself or others. Flatcapman HAS actually been posting around the site for a while with (I think) little response, and is basically just looking for someone to share the fantasy (indicated by his thread title). I think the UK BR is probably the best opportunity he’s had on Guyslink to talk about it, as there hasn’t been much response elsewhere. With the UK BR being very active, he could be certain that his request would be noticed. We talk about anything and everything here. Re the NZ BR, I’ve never seen much activity there. (As with all the other Blue Rooms).
Anyway, this is an adult gay chat/contact site. Guys come here to share their fantasies and fetishes in a way that they can’t elsewhere. If Lloyd was into feet, or being whipped, or cross-dressing, that would be totally acceptable here. Many guys use this site to indulge fantasies they can’t realise in real life. It doesn’t make sense to discriminate against a guy who has a fetish about flatcaps instead of lingerie. Being accepted on a site like this can make it easier to live your 'real life'.
I AM concerned that Lloyd could take the film fascination too far and cause distress to himself or other people, but I’ve said that in a previous post to him. I trust that he’s living a ‘real life’ but using the site to try and indulge and share a fantasy, which so many other site members do.
If Lloyd’s coming to the UK, I hope he has a good time. We already have loads of fetishists and eccentrics here, and we’re well known for exporting them around the world. It’s a kind of secondary fashion nowadays. If Lloyd is at all 'odd' then he should blend in very well.

Astro/Flatcapman - whilst not excusing the flak Flatcapman has withstood, any fetishes on this site have ALWAYS met with scepticism on this particular board, and that is simply because we've fought for a good long while for this board NOT to be turned into a meat market - and there is also another board on this site for casual contacts where discussion of that nature is commonplace.
Thus when someone posts messages akin to those of Flatcapman it tends to get the kind of response that it did.
For instance, I could bore everyone here rigid with my fetish for PVC, but I would not expect to do it without some smart alec making fun - and, through experience, I think you'll learn the same is possible for you and your fetishes.

I quite agree with Pseud, I don't think anyone was trying to be hurtful, I certainly wasn't, I just found the whole thing very confusing, I'm pleased of he has found himself a nice chap here in England, and hope he is very happy, but I don't think it was that important a posting for anyone to get on their high horses about, Now let me get back to licking these rubber boots.

Point taken about the ‘meat-market’, Pseud, you’re quite right, the BR isn’t a contact forum and shouldn’t be used as one. I’ve seen other guys being directed to the contact/pen-pal forums with a humorous remark, but I felt that the comments here were rather more harsh and inhospitable, especially considering that Flatcapman is going to be visiting our country. And the advice to go to another forum was given some way down the thread, so it wasn’t made clear that he’d posted in the wrong place. In real life, I try to be polite and helpful to people who come to my home or work who need directions to get to somewhere else, and I appreciate when others treat me in that way. The remarks seemed to be about his fantasies, not the fact that he was posting in the wrong place. And the more unusual or specific your fantasies/fetishes are, the more vulnerable you are to taunting when you reveal them.
Contact posts make up a large part of the other BR posts, so a newcomer to the UK BR may not realise right away that it’s really not wanted on that board. Also, there is a bit of discussion in some threads about TV soaps, personalities etc, so someone may think it’s OK to start a thread about a film character. However I’m really stretching a point there, so I won’t pursue that one.
If you’ve done any really unusual or innovative stuff with PVC, I’m sure it be FAR from boring to read about (please take that as a joke, NOT an invitation or challenge!)

Oh, if you're meeting someone based on their photos, make sure to find out when the pictures were taken. A young friend of mine recently travelled to the next province to meet a guy he had been chatting with on-line and then over the phone. My friend told me he was so sure of this meet that he went bought a new box of condoms - which included three freebies. None were used. The photos turned out to be a decade (or more) old.

Of course this is a great danger meeting someone on the web adl, well I mean I would NEVER say I was younger than I really was, but when I get to 33 (next year) I might be tempted. Now I do hope nobody is going to be rude about me!!

I think I know where to find a tranny for you. Though opera might/will be beyond me - but I'm quite willing to wear the outfit if that's what turns you on.
And, now I come to think of it, I think I can lay my hands on the bearded alcoholic too - provided he doesn't shave for a day or two.
