Thanks for your felicitations.
It's more than I got from my brother who I'm currently having a slanging match with via txt!
Oh, the joys of turning 32! :D laughing

Gosh, you really are as old as Wilf, now, sweetheart, though he has been thirty-two for a bit longer than thee. Harpy birthday and many, many harpy returns. Sorry love, I did not know it was your birthday when I rang earlier. But you'll be happy to know that DLT is coming to collect his bike from my bedroom later this evening.

Love,

Val

Thank you, Brodie. We've just enjoyed a lovely meal out together. He had steak and ale pie and I had roast shoulder of lamb.
All entirely delicious and probably the best meal out we've had this year. :) smiling/happy/joking

And, Val, no need to apologise. I still expect unsolicited phonecalls even on my birthday ;) winking/tongue in cheek And I'm glad to hear that dlt got his act together in the end. :) smiling/happy/joking

Happy Birthday! This means you're now two months older than me. I'll be 32 in February

Did you get any nice birthday presents?

Yes, thanks.
I got the Scissor Sisters CD from harpie's Mum, two John Martyn CDs (Bless The Weather and Solid Air) from my brother, a cheque for £25 from my parents and some PVC trousers from harpie - and lots of cards from everyone except my brother.
Of course harpie's card was the most beautiful and, if the BR will allow me, I shall type out the message tomorrow cos it was just too beautiful. :) smiling/happy/joking

Yes, Tintin. It was my birthday yesterday - how weird is that! :o amazed/shocked
Sadly, though, I don't seem as popular as I didn't get a single card or present from anyone. :( frowning/sad/displeased

Lad - Wilf is still a young man, making certain discoveries about his body. That 'aah' was one.
