He's probably in the same place as when you asked the day before yesterday, dear heart. I'm sure he'll return to the fold sooner or later.

Well Richy darling, if being "with it and modern" means carving up the English language, I'll remain prehistoric.

I really thought this txt-spk would die out with the advent of predictive text on most phones. It's actually more difficult to compose such messages now than to write in (almost) English.

...also, how getting a life buddy? Don't you have anything better to do than to "text" on a PC? Texting is for, correction, was for mobile phones, and thankfully, it's on the decline, or so I hope.
The written word, when written properly, is such a wonderful thing that just can't be beaten, be it by movies, radio and, not even texting.

Frank makes you laugh? In that case you're stranger than I thought. The most common reactions are screaming, swearing, and tearing of hair or, less frequently, apoplexy or emesis.

Get a grip: all this texting nonsense is hardly 'new' or the 'way of the future' . Look at classical Hebrew...it's ancient script is a sort of texting as they never bothered putting in the vowels! It hardly suits the English language, however..unless you like lots of innuendo and ambiguity .Anyway, English isn't the only language, you know and it's damned imperialistic to act as if it is! Long live the Welsh and Cornish tongues!Welsh boys are
nicest!
