Boddington reborn
Bods 21 Dec 1999 at 11:15 GMT

For reasons I don't intend to explain, my ability to post messages as Boddington / Bods has been somewhat inhibited in recent weeks. I've therefore decided that it's time for that name to be put to rest. And what better time for metamorphosis than at the end of a millenium.
Tomorrow I embark on a long trek home for xmas and no sooner do I arrive, but I'm off to spend some time visiting friends. It's therefore doubtful I'll have much chance to logon again before Saturday, or maybe even until after the new year. But whenever it is, it will be with new name.
Anyway, best wishes for christmas to all in the BR and especially to my special friends in here and to all those who will be spending xmas alone.
Bods

Safe trip Bods, take a good book to read while you are driving, it makes the journey go better.
Have a great Xmas and hapy NY/C to you.

You can be Boddington, if you want Peter, and I'll be Peter!

Bods, that's cute and kind of flattering but no! Beer is bad for me . . . though alcohol was on the agenda for the new handle . . . feel free to become Peter if you wish.

Bods, are you sure you can't explain why your ability to post messages as Bods has been inhibited? It's the most intriguing thing I've read in the BR since coming here three months ago.
Happy Christmas 'n all that.

How about The artist formerly known as BODS. I'm with Housman. This is too cruel to leave us all in the dark like this. Jolly Holly's

It's like waiting for a birth. I'm pacing up and down my apartment smoking cigars. Someone get hot towels.

What's to explain? Hot towels = luxury item that is totally unnecessary but very nice = good times (possibly an interpretation based on far too much air travel in the last two years?).

Sorry Peter, I thought you were going to enlighten us with something different to that ! I just stick them over the radiator whilst I'm showering then they're lovely and warm and soft for when I get out.
