Hiya,
How many of us will be on here on New Year's Eve, in the last couple of hours of 1999?
We are not giung anywhere, so I will be on here for a while - if there will be anyone else here to chat to!

I would be on, but I'm out at a dinner party from 9pm, plus I'm pretty sure my network will be down for about 24 hours over the next two days in order to avoid any Y2K problems and to update some hardware . . . maybe I'll get some work done?

Boyfriend and I are heading downtown Belfast about 10.30 to do all the 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 stuff with the lovely Brian Kennedy (he is singing, not coming along with us ... but sure we can wish!). Then a party somewhere I am sure, although i am determined not to wake up on the first morning of the new millennium with a hangover ... I'd prefer to wait to tomorrow night which is a Saturday b4 I get pie-eyed!
Anyhoo! A very happy new year to all you out there and I hope 2000 brings you all you wish for.

Well I'm going to be meeting up with someone later tonite (straight I'm afraid !). Also as I didn't go out last New Year's Eve, I am determined to make up for it this year :-)

Why is it that everyone insists on getting drunk on new Year? Like it's actaully pleasurable......

Well I'm off to a ceilidh so just about to get dressed up in my kilt. I'll be staying reasonably sober too as I find the floor wobbles if I drink too much when dancing. After the bells I'll be hitting Union Street and finding a decent party where I can consume lots of alcohol. Have a good new year guys (and girls!).

We're off soon to spend the evening afloat, but will be back in the BR soon after midnight, millenium bugs permitting! Happy new year to all in the BR:-)
